Privoxy is a non-caching web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for enhancing privacy, modifying web page data and HTTP headers, controlling access, and removing ads and other obnoxious Internet junk. Privoxy has a flexible configuration and can be customized to suit individual needs and tastes. It has application for both stand-alone systems and multi-user networks.
Privoxy is Free Software and licensed under the GNU GPLv2.

Privoxy 란 프로그램은 프록시 를 이용해서 각종 광고나, 원치 않는 내용들을 제거 해주는 프로그램 입니다. 요즘에는 브라우저마다 광고차단이 가능하지만 각각 브라우저마다 적용 시키기는 번거롭습니다. 하지만 이 프로그램에서 한번 설정 해놓으면 모든 브라우저에서 동일하게 광고차단 효과를 얻을 수 있습니다.

일단 Privoxy 를 다운 받습니다. http://www.privoxy.org
설치 시 별도로 설정해야 할 부분은 없습니다.
Privoxy 를 설치 한 뒤, 브라우저 별로 프록시 설정을 해줍니다.
